Atvirų pokalbių santrauka/ Open talks summary

[LT]

Studijų centro vadovė dr. Indrė Čeponienė kartu su Studentų atstovybės prezidente Evelina Alūzaite kviečia studentus dalyvauti jau tradiciškai tapusiuose neformaliuose pokalbiuose su administracija. Norime tikėti, jog dar vasarį pradėtas dialogas su studentais leido geriau suprasti vieniems kitus ir atrasti bendrus sprendimus.

Paskutiniame susitikime aptarėme:

Studijų kokybės termometrą – 2019m. rugsėjo mėn pradėta vykdyti modulių/dalykų ir dėstymo kokybės apklausa, kurią sudaro 5 uždaro tipo ir 1 atviro tipo klausimas.

Standartizuotos studijų kokybės vertinimo apklausos tikslas – surinkti savanorišką, anonimišką grįžtamąjį ryšį ir sužinoti studentų nuomonę apie studijų programos atskirą studijų modulį (dalyką).

Kokybės termometras leidžia:

– studentui vos atsakius į klausimus pamatyti bendrą modulio / dalyko vertinimą;

– dėstytojui matyti vertinimą „čia ir dabar“ ir įvertinti, kurios modulio realizavimo dalys yra stipriausios, o kur reikalinga išsamesnė priežasčių analizė;

– pildyti anketą mobiliajame įrenginyje;

– pateikti pasiūlymus laisva forma.

Kiekvienos programos komiteto pirmininkas gali LSMUSIS sistemoje matyti detalesnius duomenis, t.y. kurio kurso studentai atsakė, apie kurios dalykus ir pan.

Studento asmeniniai duomenys nėra matomi užtikrinant anonimiškumą. Be to, studentai, dalyvavę apklausoje, gali pamatyti kiekvieno jau praeito modulio įvertinamus, o SA bendrų susitikimų su Studijų centru bei Studijų kokybės stebėsenos ir užtikrinimo komisijos atstovais gali siūlyti konstruktyvius sprendimus studijų kokybės gerinimui, remiantis surinktais duomenimis.

Kita:

Atsakant į studentų klausimus, I. Čeponienė pabrėžia, kad pasigenda konkretumo, struktūrizuotos problemos, todėl sunku kažką išspręsti.

Study center head dr. Indrė Čeponienė together with LSMU Student Union president Evelina Alūzaitė and International Relations and Study Center dean professor Ingrida Janulevičienė organizes open conversations tradition talk about your problems and questions kindly, simply and frankly.

At the last meeting we discussed:

Study quality thermometer – survey of modules/subjects and teaching quality was launched in September 2019, consisting of 5 closed – ended and 1 open – ended question.

The aim of the standardized study quality assessment survey is to collect voluntary, anonymous feedback and find out students’ opinions about a separate study module (subject) of the study program.

The quality thermometer allows:

-to see the general assessment of the module/subject as soon as the student answers the questions;

-the teacher can see the assessment “here and now” and assess which parts of the module implementation are the strongest and where a more detailed analysis of the reasons is needed;

-fill in the questionnaire on the mobile device;

-submit tenders in free form.

The chair of each program committee can see more detailed data in the LSMUSIS system, in which course the students answered, about which subjects and so on.

The student’s personal data is not visible to ensure anonymity. In addition, students who took part in the survey can see the evaluations of each module already passed, and the SA can offer constructive solutions to improve the quality of studies based on the collected data through joint meetings with the Study Center and representatives of the Study Quality Monitoring and Assurance Commission.

The questionnaire is convenient – it can be used on the phone, short, after filling in the assessments of the whole course. The data is immediately seen by the lecturer in charge of the subject, the chairman of the SPK. A general report is submitted to the commission and the deans of the faculties.

Login is possible via lsmusis or by scanning the code on hanging posters in the university departments. The ITC has arranged for individual parts of the modules to be assessed, not just the whole module. It is planned to implement it so that it can be assessed separately according to the lecturer, assessing whether there is feedback, etc.

Other:

Answering students’ questions, head of the Study Center dr. I. Čeponienė emphasizes that there is a lack of specificity, structured problems, therefore it is difficult to solve something. The opinions received are taken into account, reviewed and, if we see a problem, we solve it, so the reports are very important.

Billing can change, much of it can move to remote space. Academic dishonesty is not ensured during a remote refusal, so navigation may be disabled, this is decided by the unit itself, depending on the issues. At least 45s are given for an open-ended question, if necessary even 1.5 or 2 minutes.

In answer to the question of why social networks sleep – students receive information from their faculties, general information is published on the university page or sent to personal emails because sensitive information is not suitable for Facebook.

It is important to emphasize that students regularly check their university mails, there comes all the important information from the university, faculties, general from the study center, as working hours change. It is also important to use university mails instead of personal ones when communicating.
